GLEN ST. MARY NURSERIES
Glen St. Mary, Florida.
Started in 1882 by George Lindley Taber, the Glen St. Mary Nurseries are located just south of the town named for the nurseries. The grand homes and large old trees on the nurseries make you feel like you have stepped back in time. Linwood, the stately family home of the Taber's for three generations, is easily the finest jewel in the crown of the nurseries property. This nursery was one of the most important and famous in the south with many plant and fruit tree introductions still popular today.
